When & where is the LMS Indian Super Series?

Dates: 2-8 March 2024

Host city: Chandigarh, India

What is the India Super Series?

The LMS Indian Super Series, the amateur version of the IPL, was first played to great fanfare in Delhi in March 2023.

In that inaugural tournament, the ground-breaking format saw Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore and other major Indian city teams meet Tiers 2,3 & 4 sides. Including smaller rural towns  ensures the net is spread wider and significantly increased the chance of discovering hidden talent.

Each team has a Team Owner and has a squad of 11 players.

The winning team will go on to play for the LMS World Champs title in December 2024.

What makes the Indian Super Series different & exciting?

1.) All Cities & Towns Are Equal - Tier 2, 3 and 4 cities compete in the #LMSISS as equals to the major cities. See, the principality of Kathiawada take on the likes of mighty Mumbai.

2.) International Amateurs – Expect to see amateur, overseas players on teamlists.

3.) Discover Next Generation Talent – With few opportunities to showcase talent in major competitions, the #LMSIndiaSuperSeries, gives younger players, especially those from the more rural areas, a chance to perform on a global stage.

4.) Global Digital Viewers – All games are live streamed and offer increased exposure for the #LMSISS amateurs as well as a front row seat to the Last Man Stands global community who relish events like these, tuning in in vast numbers for last year’s tournament.

5.) Pathway to LMS World Champs - The winning ISS team will go on to compete at our pinnacle team event, the annual LMS World Champs.  An event that has become synonymous to our LMS DNA, the tournament sees 30+ global teams compete to win the World Champs title.
