Last Man Stands continues to showcase the power of its global community and nowhere was that more evident than at the Thirsty Devil Brewery Border Bash 2026.
Bringing together players from across Australia - and beyond, this year’s tournament was a true celebration of what LMS represents. With 21 teams competing across 42 matches, the event delivered a weekend of high-quality cricket, strong competition and even stronger community spirit.
Players travelled from Brisbane to Melbourne, as well as from Townsville, Tasmania and New Zealand, highlighting the growing reach and connection across LMS regions. What stood out most was not just the level of cricket on display, but the spirit in which it was played — competitive on the field and social off it.
Events like Border Bash set the benchmark for what LMS leagues can achieve. The commitment from local management teams to organise and deliver experiences like this plays a huge role in strengthening the wider LMS network and inspiring other regions around the world.
Beyond the cricket, the tournament made a meaningful impact where it matters most. Together, the LMS community raised approximately $7,500 for important men’s health charities, including Survivors of Suicide & Friends / Winter Solstice and Spoke to a Bloke. It’s a powerful reminder of the role grassroots sport can play in bringing people together to support important causes.
