England National Championships



For the 2020 Season, teams will qualify via local leagues & cup competitions for 9 Regional Champions League Events (RCLE) that will take place across England.

The 9 regions are: North West, West Midlands, East Midlands, Yorkshire, London x2, South East England, South West England and South England.


To play at a Regional Champions League Event, a player must have played a minimum of 3 games between the 1st March 2020 and 31st August 2020, for THAT team who has qualified.

What happens if a player plays for multiple teams and they all qualify for Regional Player Qualification Events? A player is only allowed to represent one team at each individual Regional Champions League Event. If an instance occurs that a player plays for 2 (or more) teams that have qualified for the same Regional Champions League Event they must notify the Regional Organiser which team they are representing no later than 48 hours before the start of the Regional Champions League Event they. Once a player chooses a team, that choice is final and can’t be changed.

If a player is eligible for two (or more) teams that have qualified for different Regional Champions League Events, they will be allowed to represent both teams. For example, if a player plays for a team in the South London Region and the South England Region, the player can play for both teams.

Any players or teams found guilty of breaking any of the above rules will be eliminated from the competition



These terms and conditions form part of the official entry into the LMS England National Championships. By entering and/or participating in the England National Championships you consent to these terms and conditions. The team organiser further confirms and warrants that all participants are aware of the terms and conditions contained herein. 


The standard LastManStands.com rules and game point system will apply to England National Championship, unless specified otherwise on this page. All teams participating in the Australian National Champs must wear official LMS Shirts. 


All Teams entering must have completed at least 6 LMS games in an English LMS competition between 1st March 2020 and 31st August 2020. Games that are played as a Regional Champions League games do not count towards eligiblity. All teams entering will also only be accepted if they are considered to be an English-based LMS side.


A max of 11 players to be named in each team squad for the England National Championships. Squad lists are to be sent to Tournament Organisers by Thursday 17th September 2020. Only players listed on your submitted team sheet will be eligible to play a full part in a game. 

A player must have played a minimum of 3 games between the 1st March 2020 and 31st August 2020, for THAT team who they are representing at the England National Championships. (Games that are played in any Regional Champions League Events do not count towards eligibility) 

Players can only represent one team at National Finals. In the unlikely event of a player being eligible for multiple teams at the England National Championships, they must inform the Tournament Organisers which team they will represent no later than 48 hours before the start of the England National Championships.  

Please note: Players need to have received stats and must be registered for the team for above to apply. If the player in question played a game but did not receive stats for that game because he was not registered then this will not count as a game for the purpose of the qualification criteria above. It is up the team organiser to ensure that all their team/players meet the tournament qualification criteria.

Also, please note that players may only play for one team during the English National Championships . In case of injuries, a substitute fielder (not added into the original playing 8 for the fixture in question) may be used, but this substitute will not be allowed to bat, bowl or keep wicket.

Squads entering any England National Championships are limited to 11 players. 

The England National Championships Squad List needs to be filled at least 48 hours before the tournament. If in doubt to the eligibility of a player please ensure you have sign off from the tournament organiser before the player takes part in any match. Players cannot play in more than one team during the England National Championships unless the tournament organiser consents to same. Should the tournament organiser consent to same then any such players assisting other teams shall be deemed a ringer and will not be allowed to bowl more than 2 overs and bat higher than 7.


The Match Day Team must only contain players who have been listed on Team Squad List unless agreed otherwise by the tournament organiser prior to the game taking place.


England National Championships including, but not limited to group structures, prizes, team count, venues and dates may vary at the Organiser's sole discretion. Any variation may not be construed as a basis for return of entry fee, unless the Organiser agrees otherwise.


All Teams may only play in the official Last Man Stands clothing. The Last Man Stands logos as well as any sponsors logos are trademarked property and may not be reproduced without written permission.


All prizes may be withdrawn/cancelled by LMS England at its sole discretion and at any stage should a Team to which it was awarded be found to have to have cheated and/or be found to have attempted to manipulate any LMS England Event or a have conducted themselves in such a manner as to contravene the Player Code of Conduct of Last Man Stands.

Prizes are not redeemable and cannot be transferred for cash or another other form/transferred to any other teams/persons nor is there any refund value.


All members of the Team that stay within accommodation including hotels arranged by LMS England shall provide damages deposits to the hotel on arrival. Should there be any additional charges incurred by the Team the Entrant shall ensure that payment of such additional costs are settled directly with the hotel failing which the Entrant will be responsible for meeting any claims subsequently made against LMS England (together with our own and the other party's full legal costs).   


The Entrant/Participants and Team are solely responsible for travel, sport and entry insurance while travelling to and from as well as during the England National Championships including insurance covering partial/full cancellation of the England National Championships due to any reason including acts of God. Remember that you need to make it clear to your insurance company that you will be partaking in a cricket event to ensure you get full protection including partial/full cancellation of the England National Championships. In the unlikely event that we are forced to change/cancel/partially cancel or terminate the England National Championships for any reason outside of our control, we regret we will be unable to make any refunds (unless we obtain any from our suppliers), pay you compensation or meet any costs or expenses you incur as a result.


The Team agrees to participate in the England National Championships and have read and understood the Rules and Regulations of the event and all that it entails. The Entrant confirms that he/she/it is authorised by the Team to declare that the Team agrees to abide by the Rules and Regulations contained in the links below: 



and any ruling made from time to time by the Organisers as well as the terms and conditions contained herein. In the event that there is a contradiction between the Rules and Regulations and the terms and conditions contained herein, then these terms and conditions shall apply.

The Team acknowledges and accepts that cricket can be a dangerous sport and that accidents causing death, bodily injury, disability, loss or damage, including property damage, can occur. The Entrant, as well as each and every participant, accept these risks. By participating in the England National Championships, the Entrant, hereby irrevocably indemnifies and keeps indemnified the Organiser, its franchises, directors, employees and third party agents against all loss (consequential or otherwise), damage, injury and or death, costs including legal costs, interest and expenses which the Organiser, its franchises, directors, employees and third party agents may hereafter be held liable for, pay, incur or sustain in connection with any action, proceedings or claim being instituted against it by any party whomsoever, including the legal guardian of the minor child, directly or indirectly arising from or related to the use of all the Event facilities in respect of all Participants involved in the Team including all minors. The Organiser will not be held liable for any injuries or damages (consequential or otherwise) that occurs to you, or your Team, your property or that of a 3rd party during the Event. Look after yourselves and each other.

The Entrant, Participants and Organisers are independent contracting parties, and nothing contained in this agreement shall be deemed to create a partnership, joint venture or agency relationship between them, or grant any party any authority to assume or create any obligation on behalf of, or in the name of the other.


The Entrant/ Participants and Team further consent to Organiser utilising any photographs, video footage or the like in its social media posts, marketing media or equivalent in perpetuity, across the world and without consideration.

The Organiser reserves the right to amend any of the aforementioned terms and conditions at any stage including the dates of the England National Championships, its structure, fixtures, prizes and/or venue. It is the responsibility of the Entrant to ensure that he/she/it as well as the Team remains up to date with amendments. 

13. National Champs qualification pathway to LMS World Champs 

Qualified teams’ for the 2021 LMS World Championship via the England National Championships need to adhere to the LMS World Champs terms and conditions which will include the following terms and more: 

World Champs team squads will be limited to 11 players.

A minimum of 5 players in the World Champs squad must have played at least one game for the same team in the England National Championships, from which they qualified.

The remaining 6 players in the squad must have played a minimum of 3 LMS matches for that team, in the preceding 12 month period from the first competition day of the LMS World Champs.
