A long est. since 2011 member of the LMS North Brisbane, Australia, outfit, Dave Broughton is one of our newest and very popular Legends.
Since his first game for his beloved Tap That, with 3 first ball ducks, one of which was a double play, Dave has had some major achievements…culminating in his 10K runs accolade and now LMS Legend!
He’s been described more than a couple of times as ‘a colossus of the game, on and off the field’, ‘a top bloke, one of my favourite people I’ve crossed paths with in LMS’, and a guy with a deep sense of humour ‘I challenge any other side in the comp to sledge themselves more than we do.’
A founding father, Dave has said ‘We all love a beer and play the game in the spirit we think it should be done’. A great advocate of our game.

Dave is a tall, talented and hilarious bloke who laughs long and loud at himself and at life in general, his easy-going nature making him one of the most popular and well known faces in LMS Brisbane circles. With bat in hand, he hits a clean, long ball with his languid left-handed strokeplay, also sending down some darty right arm meds and occasionally throwing the gloves on as keeper.
