World Champs Terms & Conditions


These terms and conditions form part of the official entry into theLMS World Champs.

By entering and/or participating in a the LMS World Champs, you consent to these terms and conditions. The team organiser further confirms and warrants that all participants are aware of the terms and conditions contained herein.

Terms and conditions of play:-


The standard rules and game point system will apply to the LMS World Champs, unless specified otherwise. All teams participating in the Event must wear official LMS Shirts.


All teams that participate in the LMS World Champs, must have qualified by one of 4 qualification methods:

  • National Champs Winners
  • LMS Tour Event Winners
  • Super Series Winners
  • Country Rankings

All teams must have played a minimum of 3 matches in their local LMS leagues in the preceding 12 month period from the first competition day of the LMS World Champs. Any team that has not played in their Local league will need to seek the Tournament Organisers approval to play.

World Champs team squads will be limited to 11 players.

If qualifying via a WCQ Event (LMS Tour or National Finals),a minimum of 5 players in the World Champs squad must have played at least one game for the same team in that WCQ Event. All players in the squad must have played a minimum of 3 LMS matches for that team, in the preceding 12 month period from the first competition day of the LMS World Champs or played in 25+ career LMS matches for that team. Players will need to provide evidence of their 25+ career games before Tournment organisers agree for them to particpate in the LMS World Champs.

If qualifying via a Super Series event, a player must have been drafted by that team in the Super Series event which they have qualified from. Any player that was not drafted but played as a replacement player during the Super Series will be allowed to play for that team at World Champs. 

If a team that has qualified via a Super Series event are short of players due to availability and/or injury they will have the option of selecting additional players from their Super Series event undrafted list. All additional players must be approved by Tournament Organisers prior to the start of the World Champs.

If qualifying via the countrys ranking, all 11 players must have played a minimum of 3 LMS matches for that team, in the preceding 12 month period from the first competition day of the LMS World Champs or played in 25+ career LMS matches for that team. Players will need to provide evidence of their 25+ career games before Tournment organisers agree for them to particpate in the LMS World Champs.

No players contracted to any national governing body, or any State players, Ranji Trophy players, Indian Premier League players, Bangladesh Premier League players, Dhaka Premier League players or any players who have played First Class or List A cricket in the preceding 18 months of the tournament may play in the World Champs.

Player's contracted to any full member of the ICC at any stage in the 18 months prior to the WCQ Event start date will not be eligible. For information on full members of the ICC please see this link:  

The only exception to above will be if a player has played 10 or more LMS games for that team, in the previous 12 months.


World Champs team squads will be limited to 11 players.

The tournament organiser will send you a World Champs Team Squad List (WCQ_SL) form to fill in before the tournament start date. The WCQ_SL needs to be completed at least 7 days before the tournament. Please ensure you have sign off from the tournament organiser with regards to the eligibility of all players listed before your first match.

Players cannot play in more than one team during the World Champs unless the tournament organiser consents. Should the tournament organiser consent to same then any such players assisting other teams shall be deemed a ringer and will not be allowed to bowl more than 2 overs and bat higher than 7.


5.1 The Match Day Team must only contain players who have been listed on TSL (Team Squad List) unless agreed otherwise by the tournament organiser prior to the game taking place.


World Champs Events including, but not limited to group structures, prizes, team count, venues and dates may vary at the Organiser\'s sole discretion. Any variation may not be construed as a basis for return of entry fee, unless the Organiser agrees otherwise.


All Teams may only play in the official Last Man Stands clothing. The Last Man Stands logos as well as any sponsors logos are trademarked property and may not be reproduced without written permission.


All prizes may be withdrawn/cancelled by LMS Tours at its sole discretion and at any stage should a Team to which it was awarded be found to have to have cheated and/or be found to have attempted to manipulate any LMS Tour Event or a have conducted themselves in such a manner as to contravene the Player Code of Conduct of Last Man Stands.

Prizes are not redeemable and cannot be transferred for cash or another other form/transferred to any other teams/persons nor is there any refund value.


All members of the Team that stay within accommodation including hotels arranged by LMS shall provide damages deposits to the hotel on arrival. Should there be any additional charges incurred by the Team the Entrant shall ensure that payment of such additional costs are settled directly with the hotel failing which the Entrant will be responsible for meeting any claims subsequently made against LMS (together with our own and the other party\'s full legal costs).

Should you be flying to the World Champs via the group booking offered by the Organiser, seating may be requested for your group however we cannot guarantee that all seats will be located together.

All payments made with respects to the World Champs, including but not limited to deposits, Event entrance fees, flights and/or hotels are non-refundable once payment has been made. Your entrance into the World Champs, flight and/or hotel shall only be deemed to be confirmed once full payment has been made. Failure to make payment in full on the agreed final date of payment or failure to pay deposits on time will mean cancellation of your World Champs entrance, flights and/or hotel booking. Prices may also vary according to increases in travel prices, taxes, Event costs or at the Organisers discretion. At this point you will be liable to settle any difference in pricing on demand. Any changes or amendments to bookings that can be accommodated are to be requested in writing. A reasonable admin fee will be levied by the Organiser if such change or amendment can be accommodated. Entrant shall ensure that all information supplied to the Organiser regarding his/her/it shall be true and correct for the purposes of travel. The Organiser shall not be liable for any cancellations or damages sustained as a result of incorrect travel information provided.

It is your responsibility to ensure that you and the Participants are in possession of all necessary travel and health documents before departure. The Organiser cannot accept any liability if you are refused entry onto any transport or into any country due to failure on your part to carry correct documentation. If failure to have any necessary travel or other documents results in fines, surcharges or other financial penalty being imposed on us, you will be responsible for reimbursing us accordingly. In the event the Organiser is asked to reissue tickets that have been lost, destroyed or stolen and we agree to do so, any charges incurred as a result of this will be payable by you. No refunds shall be provided should travel visas or the like  be refused. The onus is on the travelling party to ensure they obtain sufficient visas for travel.


The Entrant/Participants and Team are solely responsible for travel, sport and entry insurance while travelling to and from as well as during the World Champs, including insurance covering partial/full cancellation of the World Champs due to any reason including acts of God. Remember that you need to make it clear to your insurance company that you will be partaking in a cricket event to ensure you get full protection including partial/full cancellation of the World Champs. In the unlikely event that we are forced to change/cancel/partially cancel or terminate the World Champs for any reason outside of our control, we regret we will be unable to make any refunds (unless we obtain any from our suppliers), pay you compensation or meet any costs or expenses you incur as a result.

LMS will however endeavour to postpone any Events to a future date.


The Team agrees to participate in the World Champs and have read and understood the Rules and Regulations of the event and all that it entails. The Entrant confirms that he/she/it is authorised by the Team to declare that the Team agrees to abide by the Rules and Regulations contained in the links below:

and any ruling made from time to time by the Organisers as well as the terms and conditions contained herein. In the event that there is a contradiction between the Rules and Regulations and the terms and conditions contained herein, then these terms and conditions shall apply.

The Team acknowledges and accepts that cricket can be a dangerous sport and that accidents causing death, bodily injury, disability, loss or damage, including property damage, can occur. The Entrant, as well as each and every participant, accept these risks. By participating in the World Champs Event, the Entrant, hereby irrevocably indemnifies and keeps indemnified the Organiser, its franchises, directors, employees and third party agents against all loss (consequential or otherwise), damage, injury and or death, costs including legal costs, interest and expenses which the Organiser, its franchises, directors, employees and third party agents may hereafter be held liable for, pay, incur or sustain in connection with any action, proceedings or claim being instituted against it by any party whomsoever, including the legal guardian of the minor child, directly or indirectly arising from or related to the use of all the Event facilities in respect of all Participants involved in the Team including all minors. The Organiser will not be held liable for any injuries or damages (consequential or otherwise) that occurs to you, or your Team, your property or that of a 3rd party during the Event. Look after yourselves and each other.

The Entrant, Participants and Organisers are independent contracting parties, and nothing contained in this agreement shall be deemed to create a partnership, joint venture or agency relationship between them, or grant any party any authority to assume or create any obligation on behalf of, or in the name of the other.


The Entrant/ Participants and Team further consent to Organiser utilising any photographs, video footage or the like in its social media posts, marketing media or equivalent in perpetuity, across the world and without consideration.

The Organiser reserves the right to amend any of the aforementioned terms and conditions at any stage including the dates of the World Champs, its structure, fixtures, prizes and/or venue. It is the responsibility of the Entrant to ensure that he/she/it as well as the Team remains up to date with amendments.
