1.) Regular LMS Rules will apply as well as the above player and team qualifications. https://www.lastmanstands.com/rules
All teams must be in LMS Shirts, teams not in LMS shirts will forfeit the match. Shirts may only be purchased via the official LMS Shop

2.) The usual LMS rain rules will apply to any game that has started and the LMS official decision is final. Any teams refusing to play will forfeit the match should the LMS Official declare the field ready for play in a rain affected game.

If we are not able to reschedule a game the match will be marked as a tie.

If we are not able to reschedule or finish a KO game, the team that finished higher on the overall standings will go through to the next round.

3.) We reserve the right to amend venues, tournament format, times and dates of any fixtures that are announced in the interest of the tournament. Our aim will always be to give each team as fair a chance as possible to win the tournament.

For example, as it stands the top two from each pool will qualify for the KO rounds, but should it rain we may reduce this to only the top team qualifying for the KO rounds.

Further, if it rains before a game is started we may reduce overs for all games scheduled that day and amend the start times accordingly and dates of games accordingly.

4.) Teams must provide their own 1st aid and all players are responsible for their own health insurance and or medical aid

5.) Players can only play for one team at SA Champs and can not play more than one event eg. a player can not play in SA Champs Main Cup and play in the SA Champs Cow Corner Cup.

All prizes may be withdrawn/cancelled by LMS South Africa at its sole discretion and at any stage should a Team to which it was awarded be found to have to have cheated and/or be found to have attempted to manipulate any LMS Event or a have conducted themselves in such a manner as to contravene the Player Code of Conduct of Last Man Stands

Prizes are not redeemable and cannot be transferred for cash or another other form/transferred to any other teams/persons nor is there any refund value.

8.) Entrant/Participants and Team are solely responsible for travel, sport and entry insurance while travelling to and from as well as during the tournament, including insurance covering partial/full cancellation of the South African Champs due to any reason including acts of God.

Remember that you need to make it clear to your insurance company that you will be partaking in a cricket event to ensure you get full protection including partial/full cancellation of the tournament.

In the unlikely event that we are forced to change/cancel/partially cancel or terminate the tournament for any reason outside of our control, we regret we will be unable to make any refunds (unless we obtain any from our suppliers), pay you compensation or meet any costs or expenses you incur as a result.

9.) A substitute fielder may only be used if a player is injured during a match. Once a player has left the field for an injury & a substitute fielder has come on, the injured player may not take the field again. For head injuries the ICC rules apply and a like for like player may be substituted.
