There are now 155 teams sitting on the WCQ Leaderboard overall. A total of 6090 Â points worth $60,900.00Â have been awarded to teams who have entered a LMS Tour all the way up to the winners of Tour events. They all count and all add towards your World Champs discounts.
The Team with the most points as of 1 October 2017 will be deemed the winners of the Race to Cape Town and will play in the Celebrity Charity game at the opening ceremony of World Champs. Currently the first celebrity announced to play in the charity team is Herschelle Gibbs.

Cape Town Open (16-18 Dec 2016)(250 WCQ Points worth $2500.00*)
Is taking place between 16-18 December 2016 at the Western Province Cricket Club. This highlight of a tour will see the top teams from SA and USA for that matter converge on the 2017 host City. Dont forget that if you want to enter World Champs 2017 you need to earn those WCQ points and what better place to start than Cape Town itself.Â
New Zealand Open(25-26 Feb 2017)(250 WCQ Points worth $2500.00)
Spanish Open (14-16 Apr 2017)(250 WCQ Points worth $2500.00)
This is the big one on the calender. The Spanish Open follows the successful European Open held in March of 2016. This flagship event will also see Herschelle Gibbs taking part with his own side. Want to hear the good news though? You can join his side and play for Captain Herschelle under the Spanish Sun. You do not want to miss this one.
SA Champs (28-30 Apr 2017)
A new South African Champion will be crowned in April 2017 in Port Elizabeth. The event has been brought forward in 2017 due to it being a World Champs year. Any teams may enter and the price is only R4000.00 per team to enter. Register today!
