National Champs Player Qualification Rule 1
To play at a National Champs, a player must have played a minimum of 3 LEAGUE games for that side from 21st September 2021 to 12th September 2022.
Local League Play off games and Regional Champions League games do not count as ‘LEAGUE’ games under Rule 1

National Champs Player Qualification Rule 2
A player may also qualify to play at a National Champs if they have played 10 career games for the team. A maximum of 4 players who qualify under National Champs Player Qualification Rule 2 are allowed in the squad. All remaining players must qualify under National Champs Player Qualification Rule 1.

National Champs Player Qualification Rule 3
A player is only allowed to represent one team at each National Champs. If a player meets the eligibility criteria for more than one team, they must choose which team they want to play for.

Plate Competition Sub Rule: Up to two players from another team (i.e. outside of a team’s initial tournament squad list) may be used by teams in the plate competition to replace players leaving the tournament early, but these players cannot bat in the top 6 or bowl more than 2 overs in each plate tournament match. Note that these players can also only play for one team in the Plate Competition.

The Australia Champs is open to any LMS team that meets the team criteria (regardless of whether they are regional champions or not).

The team entry for a non-regional team is $1,800 (regardless of the number of players in the squad up to a maximum of 12). This entry fee covers the following:

- All tournament match fees (up to 7 games)
- $400 LMS Shop voucher (valid for Australia Champs branded apparel at shop.lastmanstands.com)

City champions receive FREE ENTRY, but will need to pay $400 to secure their entry. However, this $400 entry fee will cover a $400 LMS Shop voucher (valid for Australia Champs branded apparel at shop.lastmanstands.com ordered in July 2022). The cost of the champions’ team entries are subsidised, but an entry fee needs to be applied to ensure that champion teams have committed to entering the tournament, and that they are properly attired at each tournament, due to issues in at past tournaments. Champion teams need to have paid this token entry fee to secure their spot prior to 20th May 2022.

Note that tournament entry includes all tournament costs (Fields, umpires, medals, trophies, balls - basically everything LMS) as well as the LMS Shop voucher for uniforms). Entry payments are non-refundable.

Spots are allocated on a first come first served basis so secure your spot by paying the $400 entry deposit (or regional champions entry fee) ASAP via this link – Australia Champs 2022 Entry Ticket – Note that the remainder of the entry fee balance will be due by Sunday 17th July, when the $400 LMS Shop vouchers will be sent out to participating teams.
