 AFRICA OPEN 17- 21 DECEMBER 2015

CAPE TOWN, SOUTH AFRICA

 

The inaugural Africa Open will be taking place from 17-21 December 2015, at the Western Province Cricket Club, in Newlands. The tournament is open to all cricket playing teams across the globe. Enjoy the competitiveness of a global tournament against the backdrop of Table Mountain.

 Tournament Structure

Teams are split into 5 pools of four teams. After the pool rounds, the teams wil be ranked based on their performance in their pool (teams with the same amount of points will be separated by number of wins, if they still have the same amount of points, then they will be separated by Net Run Rate.) The top 8 teams will play in the KO, teams 9-16 in the Plate and teams 17-20 in the Wooden Spoon.

Thursday 17 Dec -  Round 1 Pool Games

Friday 18 Dec -  Round 2 Pool Games

Saturday 19 Dec -  Round 3 Pool Games & at 6.30pm Draw for 1/4 Finals at WPCC Pavilion Bar

Sunday 20 Dec - 1/4 Finals of KO and Plate

Monday 21 Dec - 1/2 Finals and Final of KO, Plate and Wooden Spoon
