Abby's Diner take home UK Championship

Abby's Diner have been crowned the latest UK National Champions by over coming an impressive FJT Stallions in the final. Hailing from South Yorkshire, Abby's Diner walked away with £2000.00 worth of prize money.

Abby's Diner were impressive during the tournament and managed to 'one-up' last years performance where they were runners up.They came up against FJT Stallions who had just been crowned Edinburgh Open Champions and who were also fresh off a succcesful tour of Barbados during the 2015 World Championships.

The final got underway with the Diner setting a target of 139. With the batting power of FJT Stallions to come, many did feel that this may be 10-15 short of the mark. Abby's was not to be underestimated. With a bowling attack like no other, they proved that they are worthy Champions dismissing FJT Stallions for 87 off 14 overs.
