FAQ's

 1) How are TEAM WORLD RANKINGS worked out ?

Team world rankings are worked out on the last 16 games played by your team. Each league is weighted according to the strength of the league. Every time a team wins a game they will be awarded world ranking points. The higher the grade of the league the more world ranking points a team will get for a win. Teams get extra WR points when winning games by a margin of 20% or more. City, National and World champs recieve additional bonus points for winning "major titles". Runners up at these events are rewarded as well.

2) How do KEEPING, BATTING & BOWLING RANKINGS get worked out ?

Every player is given a batting, bowling and keeping score for each game. The last 16 games count towards the world rankings. The highest 14 scores from the last 16 games in each category are added to together to form the players WR point score for each category.

Batting Points take the amount of runs scored, the players strike rate, the league difficulty and the field size into the equation. Players are also rewarded when they finish not out. Bonus points are awarded when players score 50's.

Bowling Points look at the economy rate of the bowler, wickets taken, league difficulty and field size.

Keeping Rankings take stumpings, catches and runs scored by the player into the equation.

3. How do DREAM TEAMS get selected ?

The top four batsman make up positions 1-4.

The highest ranked keeper is placed in the number 5 slot

Places 6-8 are filled up using the 3 highest ranked bowlers (The number 6 spot will be the bowler will the highest batting ranking of the three bowlers in the dream team. The number 7 spot will be the bowler with the second highest batting ranking).

4) When do the RESULTS & STATS get UPDATED?

- Within 24 hours & 48 hours respectively. If they are not, contact your league manager to resolve the issue. If this problem persists please email feedback@lastmanstands.com

Only emails that advise League Details, Game Details, and Stats Error can be answered.

5) How do I query my STATS?

- Send an email to your LEAGUE MANAGER. Call or email them and they will be able to let you know. Make sure you state the name of the league, the date, your team, the opposition and the query.

6) Why don't I have stats?

- Your Team Organiser most probably has not clicked "Add Player" when logged in and added your details to the team. Have a word with your skipper and make sure he has added your details. Tell him to login > click on "My Teams" >  click on "Add Players" and then add your details. You need to have a valid email address to have stats and rankings.

7)  How to I add players to my squad :
Login with your email address and password. On the top right hand side there is a link that says "My teams" click on this link.On the next screen there is a link in the middle that says "Add players" click on this link and add a player. Just repeat, this process to add a full squad and to edit players e-mail addresses and phone number. 

If your player is already registered all you need to do is add his email address that he originally registered with, and his details will be pulled into your squad.

Remember to let your squad know that they must not give abbreviations, nicknames etc. to the umpire or scorer. It must be surname and initial, this is so we can pick up the players on the system when we add in their stats.

8) RAIN :
PLEASE ASSUME GAMES ARE ON UNTIL YOU HEAR FROM LMS. Please contact your league manager for rain related enquiries on match days.

10) Why am I ranked twice / have two sets of stats?

Make sure that if you join a new team the Team Organiser, uses the same email address that you previously were registered with. (The email address links your stats)(This can't be done afterwards, and must be done before stats are entered)

* Tip for team organisers: When adding players that you think have played LMS for another team, just add there email address and click save. The system will pull in the rest of the players details. And the player will be happy as his career record will be saved.
