Last Man Stands Twenty20 cricket is expanding in rapidly in Australia with leagues now being played in Melbourne, Sydney, Perth, Gold Coast and soon to be Brisbane, Canberra, Adelaide and Newcastle.

Last Man Stands is a variation on the the new outdoor Twenty20 cricket format. Last Man Stands caters for players of all abilities - teams come from all walks of life, all parts of town and all parts of the world!

The Last Man Stands game has been designed to maximise the involvement of all players in the team - regardless of ability - within a two hour time period. It is quicker than the professional game and there are only 8 players per team. There are some great quirky rules, such as double play rule (two wickets off one ball) and the signature “Last Man Stands Rule” (allowing the last batsman to bat on his own but he can only score 2's or boundaries). There are many other exciting rules that increase the participation and enjoyment of all players.  

All teams that play Last Man Stands are given a city and world ranking! All players have a detailed profile online and are given global / city batting and bowling rankings.
